Ryan Ostermeier joins Kevin Mickelby and Will Tuokkola to become the third student this year to be awarded Langley Flying School’s Samuel Ruiz Private Pilot Award

Ryan Ostermeier has become the third Langley Flying School Private Pilot Student in 2009 to be awarded the Samuel Ruiz Private Pilot Award for excellence demonstrated on the Transport Canada’s Private Pilot Licence Written Exam- ination. Kevin Mickelby and Will Touokkola claimed the award earlier in the year. This award includes a $700 cash prize, and is historically a rare bird since recipients must obtain 90% or more on the rather challenging Transport Canada exam.
