Voyageur Upgrades Sean Larkin to as King Air Medivac Captain

 

As perhaps one of the best Christmas presents

one could expect, Sean Larkin successfully

completed his upgrade to King Air Captain.

Sean has been a King Air Medevac pilot with

Voyageur Airways since January, 2008,

and is the second Langley Flying School

graduate to be picked up Voyageur,

following Nick van Empel.

 

 

Sean began his pilot training with Langley Flying School as a Pilot Summer Camp student back in 1997. Continuing with his pilot training part-time while a high school student, Sean went on to complete his Private Pilot Licence in November of 2000. Sean became a Commercial Pilot in June of 2004, after being recommended for is Commercial Flight Test by his Father and former Langley Flying School Graduate/Flight Instructor Tom Larkin. Sean subsequently qualified for his Group 1 (Multi-engine) Instrument Rating in April of 2004, and then flew as a First Officer on the Piper Navajo conducting IFR operations in and out of airport located througout southern British Columbia. He moved to Canadian Air Charters in 2006, and received an upgrade with that company to Captain on the Piper Navajo PA-31-350 Chieftain in March of 2007. Sean first began working with Voyageur as a Medivac King Air First Officer in early 2008.
